－ What You Can Expect －

If you already spent some time in Seoul city and are looking something outdoorsy, yet easygoing, a ride on the Gangchon Rail Bike might be the perfect fit!

Make your way to Nami Island, hop onto a 2 or 4 seat bike and pedal along the old train tracks while soaking up the scenery of the Bukgangang river.

You will be traveling the historical route the Mugunghwa train used to take for more than 60 years. You』ll start off at Gimyujeong Station and embark for a first nice ride of 6km (approx. 50 mins). After that, you will arrive at a transfer station where you can take a short rest, catch your breath and then continue your journey by train.

Upon arrival at Gangchon Station, you can make use of the free shuttle, which will bring you back to your start-off point.

．VR Railbike Tunnel

Gangchon Rail Park』s VR is the first experience where you can enjoy VR(Virtual Reality) in tunnel while riding the rail bike.


．Bubble machine tunnel
Starting from 2017, you can enjoy railbike experience crossing a bubble machine tunnel!

‧ Service Hours: 09:00－18:00
‧ Meeting Time: 30 mins before boarding time.
‧ Meeting Point: Kimyujeong station 323-2, Jeung-ri, Sindong-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, Korea
‧ Duration: Approx. 60 mins



－ Additional Info －

‧ Running time is different from season to season, we highly recommend you book one month prior to the experience date.
‧ You can return to the local area with a free shuttle bus.
‧ Next month's booking begins at the beginning of the month. Current bookings include this months and next months.
‧ Please also include 3 alternative times of experiencing the bike ride to ensure availability.
‧ Please specify the number of people participating.
‧ Kids under 5 should be accompanied by elders. Elders will be asked to sign a liability certificate of tall risks before taking a rail bike, guaranteeing full responsibility of their child. We will not be liable for any unexpected events or accidents that occurs.
‧ VR experiences require the wear of special glasses and are not recommended for those under the age of 10 or over 65. For those insisting on participation will need to sign a consent form.
‧ VR tickets can purchased at the ticket booth(1,000KRW per person). Please give VR tickets to the staff at the station before departure. Then VR(HMD) will be given at the front of the 4th tunnel entry.
‧ As from today till June. 30, customers purchasing tickets will receive coupons to SHINSEGAE duty-free shop, worth up to KWN 60,000!
